Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EEA) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

The Service is available to individuals and organizations worldwide, except where prohibited by applicable law. You are responsible for complying with all local laws that apply to your use of the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• Update your information to keep it accurate and current.
• Not share your credentials with any third party.
• Notify us immediately at support@hiria-ai.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account. You may be held liable for losses incurred by us or others due to such unauthorized use.

Hiria AI is a real-time AI interview copilot. The Service provides:

• Real-time AI-generated interview answers grounded in your uploaded resume and job description
• Coding problem, diagram, and MCQ analysis via screenshot capture
• AI coaching feedback and scoring on completed interview sessions
• Resume ATS scoring and keyword gap analysis
• Session history, transcripts, and usage analytics
• Desktop overlay application for Windows and macOS

Features, limits, and supported AI models vary by plan. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code or underlying algorithms of the Service.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, its infrastructure, or the accounts of other users.
• Using automated tools — including bots, scrapers, or crawlers — to access, index, or extract data from the Service, except as expressly authorized via our API.
• Uploading, transmitting, or distributing content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harmful, or that infringes any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting the Service or any AI-generated output without our prior written consent.
• Circumventing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with any usage limits, access controls, security features, or rate limits of the Service.
• Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your identity or affiliation in connection with the Service.
• Using the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure or interfere with other users' access to the Service.

We reserve the right to investigate potential violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or permanent termination of your account, without prior notice, if we determine in our sole discretion that a violation has occurred.

Our IP: The Service, including all software, text, graphics, logos, and AI models we deploy, is owned by or licensed to Hiria AI and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written consent.

Your Content: You retain all rights to the content you upload to the Service (resumes, job descriptions, etc.). By uploading content, you grant Hiria AI a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store it solely to provide the Service to you.

AI-Generated Output: Responses generated by the Service are provided for your personal use as a subscriber. We do not claim ownership of AI-generated content produced from your inputs. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content.

Available Plans: The Service is available under the following plan tiers:

• Free — Limited monthly usage at no charge. No credit card required.
• Student — Discounted plan for eligible students. Billed monthly or annually.
• Starter — Expanded usage with GPT models. Billed monthly or annually.
• Pro — Includes Claude Sonnet & Haiku models and higher usage limits. Billed monthly or annually.
• Ultimate — All models, highest usage limits. Billed monthly or annually.
• Lifetime — A one-time payment granting permanent access to all features at the Ultimate tier for as long as the Service operates. No recurring subscription.

Features, quotas, and supported AI models may change over time. We will provide advance notice of material reductions to any paid plan's core feature set.

Subscription Billing: Subscription plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis in US dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. By providing payment details, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.

Lifetime Plan: The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It grants you ongoing access to the Service at the Ultimate feature tier for the duration of the Service. The Lifetime plan is non-transferable and tied to your individual account. We do not guarantee the Service will operate indefinitely; however, if we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide at least 90 days' notice to Lifetime plan holders. The Lifetime plan is not eligible for refunds after purchase except where required by law.

Credit Packs: Credits are one-time purchases used to extend usage beyond your plan's monthly quota. Credits do not expire while your account is active but have no cash value and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days of the charge at support@hiria-ai.com and we will investigate promptly.

Cancellation: You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access to paid features continues until that date. We do not prorate partial periods.

Price Changes: We may update subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of a paid plan after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing. Lifetime plan holders are not subject to price changes.

Free Plan: Free plan usage is subject to monthly quotas which may be adjusted at our discretion. We will provide reasonable notice before materially reducing free plan limits.

Hiria AI offers an Affiliate and Referral Program allowing eligible users (“Affiliates”) to earn commission by inviting new subscribers to the Service using a personalized referral link.

• Commission Structure: Affiliates earn a 30% recurring commission on valid, non-refunded subscription payments made by referred users who register using the Affiliate's unique referral link and subscribe to a paid plan (Starter, Pro, Ultimate, or Lifetime).
• Referral Tracking: Referral links use URL parameters and local browser storage to attribute signups. A signup is credited to an Affiliate only if the referred user completes registration with the referral code attached to their account.
• Prohibited Conduct: Affiliates may not engage in spamming, deceptive advertising, trademark bidding, self-referrals (referring your own accounts), or any unlawful promotional activities.
• Payouts & Forfeiture: Commission balances are displayed in your account settings. We reserve the right to withhold, cancel, or forfeit affiliate earnings resulting from fraudulent signups, chargebacks, policy violations, or system errors.

The Service uses large language models (AI) to generate content. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Always verify important information independently.
• AI output does not constitute professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or career advice). It is your responsibility to exercise independent judgment.
• The quality of AI responses depends on the quality and completeness of the content you provide.
• We do not guarantee that AI responses will be suitable for any particular purpose, including any specific job application or interview.

You are solely responsible for the decisions you make based on AI-generated content from the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind — express, implied, or statutory — including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

We make no representations or warranties that:

• The Service will meet your specific requirements or produce any particular outcome.
• Access to the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free of errors.
• AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose.
• Any defects or errors in the Service will be corrected.
• The Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Your use of the Service is at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties; in such cases, the above exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hiria AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service, regardless of whether such damages are based in contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees you paid to us during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (US $50).

The limitations in this section reflect a fair allocation of risk between you and Hiria AI and are a fundamental element of the basis of the bargain between us. Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain types of damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend (at our option), and hold harmless Hiria AI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, demands, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or relating to:

• Your access to or use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
• Your User Content — including any claim that your content infringes or misappropriates any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Your fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence.

We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume exclusive control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any available defences.

By You: You may delete your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including for:

• Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal conduct
• Non-payment of fees
• Extended inactivity (we will provide advance notice for inactive free accounts)

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14 of these Terms survive termination.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hiria AI is incorporated, without giving effect to any conflict-of-law rules that would require application of the laws of a different jurisdiction.

Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@hiria-ai.com and provide a written description of the dispute, the relief sought, and your contact information. We will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receipt.

Formal Proceedings: If the dispute is not resolved informally, either party may pursue their claims in a court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits either party's right to seek urgent injunctive or equitable relief to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

No Class Actions: All disputes must be brought in the parties' individual capacities. You waive the right to bring or participate in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding against Hiria AI.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.

We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page.
